The MUCH VIDEO DANCE is a unique combination of good times, great music and exciting atmosphere. With the latest dance hits, hip-hop, rap, retro and rock, MUCH has it all, and can create any music mix to suit your dancing needs. A live “on-the-screen” dance host will interact with the crowd, award contest prizes and take requests on the spot. The rear projection screens, powerful stereo sound and controlled lighting help create a party atmosphere right in your school. Thanks to our generous sponsor Empire Theatres, students can win some great prizes and rewards** through their fundraising work for the Walk.

Student Walker Fundraising Prize

The top individual student fundraiser in each region will receive 10 Empire Theatres movie passes (your fundraising total must be $200 or greater).

School Team Fundraising Prize

The top school fundraising team of two or more registrants in each region receives 20 Empire Theatres movie passes (your team’s fundraising total must be $500 or greater).

Additional Student Fundraising Rewards

In addition, individual student fundraisers will receive the following rewards.**

$200 Two Empire Theatres movie passes

Note: Students raising $250 or greater will receive individual fundraising rewards instead of student rewards. School teams raising $500 or more will receive group fundraising rewards instead of school team rewards. 

To be considered for student prizes and rewards, be sure to select “I’m a Student” when you register (closed) and check Yes to the “I am a student” box on your fundraising form.

To register (closed) as a school team, select “School Team” as your team type, and enter your school’s name. School teams can include students along with school staff or faculty, and friends, colleagues and family of other school team members. School teams can be for elementary, secondary, or post-secondary schools.  

** NOTE: To receive a student prize or reward, all funds raised must be submitted on or before Sunday, May 5, 2013. Rewards will be given based on total fundraising amount submitted (i.e. donations raised both online and in person). To be eligible, all student participants must be registered at a Canadian primary, secondary or post-secondary institution, 25 years of age or younger, and enrolled in full-time studies. In Walk locations without an Empire Theatres cinema nearby, substitutions will be made of equal of greater value. The six regions are defined as British Columbia/Yukon, Alberta/Northwest Territories, Manitoba/Saskatchewan/Nunavut, Ontario, Québec, and Atlantic Canada. School teams or students who raise $250 or more may choose to donate their fundraising reward back to Kids Help Phone and receive an official tax receipt for the value of the reward.
